Sorry, no flashy pictures for this little contest but hopefully that won’t bother you guys too much. I am going to be giving away my copy of Richard Speight Jr’s Three Blind Saints dvd. I am willing to ship to the USA and Canada for this. Now, how can you win this? Simply reblog and write a paragraph as to why you want the dvd and why you should win. Simple right? The contest will end January 31st (plenty of time for you guys to win). I’m doing this because I simply don’t like religious movies and this one is religious. I love Mr. Speight and all, but I think that this should go to someone who wants it more :)

Three Blind Saints

So I’ve gotten 3 Blind Saints and am ready to watch it. I’m apprehensive because I honestly do not like religious movies but I love Richard Speight Jr. and if it is a funny movie with a good plot without being overly preachy I can stomach it. Fingers crossed :)

Yu Yu Hakusho Section

I’ve also gotten the jewel of my Yu Yu Hakusho collection, Eizou Hakusho which includes “The Movie” all dubbed now by the Funimation cast who brought us the tv show. Though I may actually go out and buy the other version of The Movie voiced by a cast from a different company just to add it to my hakusho collection. I want to get a few of the CDs but they only have one that I already own on Amazon *shrug* But yeah, for years the only way to view the OVAs was to watch them online in Japanese with fan-subs. So it is very nice that they’ve brought them over to the states in a boxset. It’s just a shame that the actors for the English didn’t do any of the songs too. That would’ve been exciting to hear! Kurama is one of my favorite characters of all time when it comes to the show. People think it is because he is pretty and I honestly tell them that it is part of it, but the most important thing for me is that he is smart. He is a smart, tough, deadly character with depth and a long backstory. He is an impressive character, fun and unique. The manga/anime is about 20 years old by this point so it is now a classic by any standards, yet to this day you’ll still find hakusho cosplayers roaming the halls of conventions. Hell, if my own sewing skills (and budget) were up to it, I would definitely cosplay as the red-head. Any anime fans out there?

Doctor Who section/Mall Section

So, what else can I talk about…Well as it says I went to the mall. That is a RARE occurrence for me so I was pretty psyched! My brother got me a Doctor Whooves t-shirt! For those of you who don’t know, Doctor Whooves is the My Little Pony version of Doctor Who. It is awesome! I’m going to wear it the first day back to college! I love Doctor Who and I really enjoy My Little Pony Friendship is Magic so it is a win-win! I may post a picture!

I also picked up a discounted Christmas stocking. Bazinga! My Christmas stocking is Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory. At my dad’s place I don’t have a Christmas stocking. I got it 50% off so it was pretty cheap and I think it was one of the last ones so…I’m pretty happy ^^

I also picked up “dirty” x-rated valentine’s day candy for some of my friends. They are sure to get a kick out of them. I only picked up three boxes though so I’ll have to get different candy for the rest of my pals.

It was a fun day all in all. I had a great time. I don’t often get to go anywhere beyond work and home and school when it is running. Nice change of pace. Even if I don’t get anything, I enjoy walking around the place, especially with pals. This time it was a great day with my mom and bro. Love them.

So howdy lovely followers whom I am grateful to have :)

This is just a rifting kind of entry today. Three Blind Saints, a movie staring Richard Speight Jr is going to be coming out. I am NOT a religous person in the slightest (though I believe this film is focused on such themes) but it looks like a fun movie regardless. Like Bruce/Even Almighty for example. Don’t believe, but could still enjoy those movies. And of course, one of my men is in it. Yes, I said my men. In my head I have an A team of guys that I kind of fawn over. And Mr. Speight is on that list. On twitter they said that they will be doing a give-a-way of a Richard fan prize thing. Rules are not yet out. But we’ll see. If it has a photo/autograph of the guy, going to try to get it. I know, so shallow to follow movies because of a select grouping/indvidual, but if I like a person and their work, why is that a bad thing? Reason I mention that is because people constantly belittle me (subtly) for focusing on a person or persons when looking for things to watch. But I don’t think they understand that while I watch a lot of movies and what not, I don’t watch things often. It takes me a long time to get interested in things. LOST was in it’s mid-sixth season by the time I realized it was a good show for me. Numb3rs is a cop show, not a huge fan of cop shows though I do enjoy the random episode here and there, but I started watching it because of David Krumholtz. And know what? That show is one of the few that gave me a response to my letter! Yeah! lol.

Supernatural was on last night. Now I swear I won’t spoil it. I will say though that I really enjoyed it. I would’ve enjoyed it more if I hadn’t been brought down by the bizare/annoying debate between Romney and Obama I had to sit through. I, won’t go into the political view points right now. But yeah, after that, I watched the newest episode with my mom. Thankfully it was AFTER it recorded on the DVR meaning no commercials! How great! I enjoyed it, I like that they basically state the mission of the season from the get go and I loved that they brought back some familiar faces! I’m pumped for this season. Though me and a person in my class whom found out I was a SPN fan because of the book I was reading (SPN Night Terror) believes that this season will be the last. Though I have had that thought in my head since around mid-season 7 that the next season would be the last one. Where else are they honestly going to go after this season? I would LOVE if they could continue. Truly but where are they going to go? They’ve already hit a pretty big wall and are thus far scaling it very well. I just don’t see how the mojo is going to keep going. Really. But before this theorhetical future of SPN, I just have to go back and say that I though this episode had some deep emotional problems, action, humor and it was great. I cannot believe it is finally here and I’m pumped.

So, onto more personal. The 11th I’m hoping to participate in yet another talent show for my school JUST saw the poster (probably hung them out late) and I REALLY want to do it. It is actually on a day that I could do it! I just need a damn ride because seriously I want to go! I need to pratice my routines. I’m just so sick and tired of younger people/kids being in the crowd. Seriously, I am an adult in a college, I want to talk to other adults about adult things. Not stutter on a joke because I realize that I’m staring at a two year old in the back isle. I’m going to be hopeful, but I just want to hear some encouragement. Can you guys root me on from the internet if I in fact do go? Doing comedy is really difficult and requires a lot of practice and strength to put up with the negativity, and just fear of being on stage. I am going to do it though if I can because I just want to make people laugh.

So, what’s new with all of you?

So apparently Richard Speight’s b-day is in my month, September. And fast approaching…the 4th. Oooo. So, I’m going to be sending him birthday greetings (if you look below this post you’ll see another post reblogged from another user with the idea and the address to send Richard letters). And in honor of his birthday I shall probably pop in (even the bad ones) movies I own with him in it. Plus some Supernatural episodes on the side ^^

Anyways, besides Mr. Speight, I’m currently working on two vlogs. One of the past weekend I spent with my friends (about 2 posts down) and the other a mixture of random thoughts and experiences over the past few days, including this one which is the first day of the semester. Shaping up to be a busy few months. At least it’ll keep me occupied right? ^^

I’m also thinking about linking my tumblr and twitter so that when I post on here, it’ll post a notice there. Anyone do that?

Well my lovely readers I’m actually pretty sick at the moment. But a bit of sunshine came to me today when I got North Beach in the mail. Twas a good movie, not the greatest, but good. And holy hell I love seeing Richard Speight fly off the handle and swear and stuff like that. Being lovable and goofy….so, thank you for all your comments and what not. I appreciate them very much. So glad I enjoyed it.

To be quite frank, until Supernatural I’d never heard of Mr. Speight. Funny enough I’d see the first Pepsi Max commercial, but never made the connection until the fans of youtube enlightened me lol. So, being very impressed with his performances as Gabriel on Supernatural, I was compelled to seek him out.

Alright, I’ve wanted to watch whole bunch of Mr.Richard Speight Jr lately. I’m trying to find things that he’s been in (wikipedia is a blast) but now I’m trying to find this movie he was in, a tv movie I think called Out There. I just want to see his scenes as this comic book clerk. I’ve already managed to see a couple episodes of The Agency so that curiosity is cured for a while. Does anyone know where I can get this movie? My searches are turning up nothing.

I am not sure what I want to review. However, I am going to be getting some money for my Amazon account as a reward for some things that happened at work. That being said these are the following movies I intend to get/review.

But these are the movies that I am thinking about getting them. BUT I am tired of sitting of bad movies just because of an actor being in it *see my earlier on Demonic Toys review to understand what I am talking about*.

What do you guys think though of these movies? Are these good “just because” “rainy day” movies or are these are waste of time? AND how much screen time do these lovely gents actually get?

Ps. Side note, how do I make a post that people can actually reply to without putting a question into the title? I can only make posts that have an ability to reply if I put a question into the title. There’s got to be another way right?

A wonderful user on here finally answered my long standing question of where the clip of Richard Speight Jr sucking on a woman’s finger came from. Apparently it is from a film called North Beach (highly expensive when I looked it up). That finally answers my question of where, but my new question is…why? why did the character suck on her finger? I found out that the woman in the story is his character’s girlfriend so that’s part of it. Well, now off to find answers to this new question lol. I know, silly, random, pointless and NOT the Ghostbusters video game review I promised. That one is coming I promise!

What is one of the more interesting things you’ve seen one of your favorite actors do that was taken out of the context in which it was meant?

So, if you guys celebrate, or were to celebrate this holiday in a world where you could have anything you wanted, what would it be? It can be pretty much anything, it is just a imaginary world after all.

I would want to have a day to spend with Mr. Speight Jr. (not in that way just to clarify!) and he would not be married (only because I would want a kiss on the cheek and I would feel guilty getting on if he were married). The only thing I would want to to, is just hang out kind of. Not a sit down dinner thing, a casual, let’s get a snack and drink and chat kind of thing. And then at the end, a hug, and a kiss on the cheek and that would be that.

So what about you guys? I know a bunch of your a SPN/DW/Sherlock fans, what would you guys like?
